Pre-order placement questions

open-close-arrowI do not have exact full delivery address in Nepal for my recipient. Can you still deliver?

Yes. You can provide your recipient's name, area address (cross streets, landmarks, or simply city's name) and phone numbers. We can call your recipient's for directions before sending out for delivery.

open-close-arrowCan you deliver on my preferred delivery date?

Certainly. You can choose a delivery date on checkout page while placing an order. Orders are delivered on the selected delivery day inside Kathmandu valley. Delivery date may vary to Outside Valley locations. We recommend to place orders early for timely delivery.

Definitely. Orders placed by 12pm noon (Nepal's Local Time) can be delivered the same day inside Kathmandu valley. Please see sameday delivery availability information for each item on product page if they can be delivered the sameday.

open-close-arrowIf I order something today, then how long will it take to deliver the item? Is it home delivery or do they need to come and pick up after you call them?

You can choose a preferred delivery date on checkout page while placing an order. We can deliver the sameday inside Kathmandu valley and 3-5 days to outside Kathmandu. All orders are home delivered inside Kathmandu and to major cities outside Kathmandu. Items sent through courier service and to some remote areas, home delivery may not be available.

Yes, your payment information and privacy will be safe and secure while ordering online with us. We do not store any of your CC information. This is handled by very reputed banks in Nepal in secure environment. You can place your order online with confidence.

open-close-arrowWhat is your return/exchange policy?

For any reason if you're not satisfied with products, we have following return/exchange policy in place.


Perishable items: There's no return policy on perishable items including all food products, cakes, flowers, fruits, sweets, beverages and all consumable items after delivery. However, we can exchange or replace if these products are damaged during delivery or should there be any issue with product quality.


Non-perishable items: We have 7-day return or replacement policy on most non-perishable items. If you'd like to return or exchange any non-perisable items for any reason, you can do so within 7 days after delivery. No questions asked.


Damage covered: Please be assured that if an item gets damaged during shipment or before delivery, we will arrange redelivery with a new fresh product.

We send order status updates to your email address. Will you please check your spam/junk folder if you've received any update emails from us? If you have not received any email update, please call or email us (contact info at the bottom of this page) with your order/invoice number so we can check your order.

For some reason, if you need to cancel your existing order - simply email us with your order details. There's a 5% cancellation fee. The fee is to cover the processing fees charged by payment processor. Please see details - https://www.giftmandu.com/terms-conditions.html#cancel

PAYMENT RELATED QUESTIONS

open-close-arrowI tried to place an order but payment failed/declined. I could not process payment.

Please check:

  • Your billing address (gift from) is exactly as it appears on your bank statement. Payment does not process if the billing address is not as per your bank statement. Will you please update your billing address exactly as it appears on your bank statement and try placing your order again?
  • Make sure all card details are correct including card number, name on the card, expiry date and CVV.

Alternatively, you can also try using another payment method available on checkout page.

We accept major credit/debit cards (internationally) as well as money transfer (Western Union, Moneygram, IME, Prabhu or your choice of any money transfer service), and eSewa, eBanking and Cash-on-Delivery in Nepal.

When placing order from outside Nepal, please choose USD to pay with major credit/debit cards (visa, mastercard, american express, union pay). If you're ordering from other countries other than the US, your account will be charged in equivalent local currency.

When placing order from Nepal, please choose NPR to pay with credit/debit cards of Nepali banks. We also accept eSewa, direct bank deposit to Laxmi, Himalayan, Nabil or Nepal Investment Bank, as well as Cash-on-Delivery (COD) and Money Transfer.
