Flowers Care Guide - Flowers Delivery in Nepal

Now, you just received a lovely flower bouquet delivery, and want to keep the flowers fresh for a longer period of time. Here're some tips:

To keep flowers fresh for longer period of time, followings tips are suggested after delivery.

If your flowers are delivered in a handtied bouquet wrapped with a paper wrapper or cellophane:

• Remove the wrapper packaging and taping off the flowers
• Cut about half inch of the end of the stem at an angle (that will allow flowers to absorb water quicker in a new pot/vase). Use sharp knife, and avoid crushing stems while cutting.
• Now take a clean vase you have at your home (as per the flower size)
• Fill ¾ of the vase (do not over water flowers)
• Put flowers in vase (and flower food if available)
• There should be no foliages or fillers that came with flowers under the water of the vase. It may create bacteria and give bad smell in a couple of days affecting flowers life. Therefore, only stem of the flowers and fillers should be under water.
• Keep flowers on a safe place under cool conditions away from direct sunlight and heat.
• In 2-3 days, if some of the flowers start drooping – you can re-cut about half inch of the stems of good flowers, remove drooping flowers and fillers, change water in vase. This will allow to keep remaining flowers stay fresh longer.

If your flowers are delivered in a vase:

• Fill ¾ of of the vase with clean water
• Change water in 3-4 days removing/cutting any drooping flower and fillers

If your flowers are delivered in a basket with foam base:

• Add water to the foam base everyday
• Remove wilting leaves and drooping flowers from the arrngement
