Whichever side of the world you are on, the gift arrives the same way.
Delivery you can count on
Same-day delivery across Kathmandu Valley on orders placed before 4pm Sunday to Friday, or before 2pm on Saturday. Two-hour express is available inside Ring Road.
Outside the Valley we deliver nationwide, usually within two to three days depending on the district.
Sending a gift home from abroad
Families in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada and the Gulf have been using Giftmandu since 2010 to send gifts to Nepal. Pay in your own currency and choose the delivery date at checkout.
Our team handles everything on the ground in Kathmandu, so you do not need anyone at home to receive or forward the order.
Questions people ask before ordering
How does the gift finder choose what to show me?
It matches your four answers to a live category on our store and pulls the current products from it. Everything you see is real stock at the price shown, not a static list, so nothing goes out of date.
Can I still order if I miss the same-day cutoff?
Yes. Orders placed after the cutoff go out the next delivery day. If it is urgent, call us before you place the order and we will tell you honestly whether it can still be done today.
I am paying from outside Nepal. Which cards work?
International Visa and Mastercard both work at checkout, and you are charged in your own currency. You do not need a Nepali bank account or a local payment wallet.
How long do personalised and engraved gifts take?
Personalised items are made in our own studio, so lead time depends on the product. Engraved pieces usually need one to two working days before dispatch. The product page shows the current lead time for each item.
Can I send the gift straight to the recipient?
Yes, and most customers do. Enter the recipient's name, address and phone number as the delivery details, and add your message at checkout. We do not include any pricing in the package.
What if nobody is home when you deliver?
Our rider calls the recipient before arriving. If they cannot receive it, we reschedule for a time that suits them rather than leaving the gift at the door.
