What is the last day I can order for delivery before Raksha Bandhan?
It depends where they live. Inside Kathmandu Valley, order by 4:00 PM Nepal time on 28 August for same-day delivery. For major cities such as Pokhara, Chitwan or Biratnagar, order by 25 August. For the rest of Nepal, order by 21 August. The gift finder above shows this per zone.
Can I send a rakhi to Nepal from the USA, UK or Australia?
Yes. Most of our Raksha Bandhan orders come from Nepalis abroad. You pay in US Dollars, we deliver in Nepal, and there is nothing for the recipient to pay on arrival — no customs, no courier charge.
Do you deliver outside Kathmandu?
Yes, nationwide. Inside the Valley our own team delivers, often the same day. Outside the Valley we use courier partners — 2-3 days to major cities and 3-5 working days to other districts.
Can I send just the rakhi thread, without a gift?
Yes. Rakhi threads start at around US$1.65 and can be sent on their own with a free hand-written message card. Many customers send the thread early and a gift closer to the day.
What is a return gift for a sister?
