Products & Product Information
Giftmandu products are displayed under various categories. Product images and descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge and may vary slightly due to availability, seasonal factors, or customization.
Non-perishable items are shipped from our Kathmandu warehouse.
Perishable items (including cakes, flowers, and sweets/mithai) are freshly prepared on the day of delivery and hand-delivered in selected cities.
All gifts are delivered to the delivery address provided at checkout.

Product Availability
In the event that a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, customers may choose one of the following options:
Wait until the product becomes available
Select an alternative product
Request a full refund

Delivery Coverage
Giftmandu currently processes deliveries within Nepal only.
Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur): Door-to-door delivery available.
Outside Kathmandu Valley:
Perishable items are delivered only to selected cities.
Non-perishable items are shipped nationwide via courier partners.
In certain locations, recipients may be required to collect items from the courier office. Notification will be provided in such cases.

Delivery Date & Time
Customers may select a preferred delivery date during checkout.
While we make every effort to deliver on the selected date, specific delivery times are not guaranteed.
Deliveries outside the Kathmandu Valley may experience date variations due to logistics and courier schedules.

Delivery Exceptions
Delivery may be delayed or temporarily suspended due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Political unrest or strikes (bandh)
Natural disasters
Road closures or emergencies
In such cases, deliveries will be rescheduled at the earliest possible time, and both sender and recipient will be notified.

Recipient Verification
To ensure secure delivery:
Photo identification may be requested from recipients.
High-value items may require mandatory ID verification and signature upon delivery.
If the recipient is unreachable due to incorrect contact details or unavailability, we will contact the sender for further instructions.

Delivery & Shipping Fees
Fees cover delivery handling, logistics, and fuel surcharges.
Applicable fees are displayed during checkout.

Perishable Gift Items (PGI):
Includes cakes, flowers, sweets/mithai, and food items
Prepared fresh on the day of delivery
Hand-delivered by Giftmandu staff in selected cities
Non-Perishable Gift Items (NPGI):
Shipped nationwide from Kathmandu using courier partners

Gift Wrapping & Messages
Premium gift wrapping may be added at an additional cost.
Customers may include a personalized gift message with their order.

Delivery Confirmation
Delivery confirmation is provided as follows:
Kathmandu Valley: Photo confirmation (subject to recipient consent)
Outside Valley: Email confirmation

Warranty & Guarantee
Manufacturer warranties apply only if provided by the respective brand or supplier. Giftmandu does not offer separate warranties beyond those stated.

Special Offers & Discounts
Promotional offers and discounts are available periodically and are subject to specific terms and validity periods.

Refund & Replacement Policy
Items must be returned in original condition and packaging.
No refunds are available for perishable or consumable items once delivered, including cakes, flowers, sweets, food, beverages, fruits, chocolates, and dry nuts.
Replacement or re-delivery will be provided in case of damaged or incorrect perishable item delivery.

Order Cancellation
Customer-initiated cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover payment processing charges.
If an order is canceled due to reasons beyond customer control (e.g. product unavailability, delivery restrictions, strikes, natural disasters), customers may choose rescheduling or receive a full refund.
Refunds are credited back to the original payer. No cash refunds are issued to recipients.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
